조선민주주의인민공화국

안녕하세요! Hello! مرحبًا! 你好! привет!

Welcome to the Official Page of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea!

Here you can read many brilliant facts about the most free and prosperous nation on Earth!

Who are we?

We are a small nation situated in East Asia, between both our Glorious Ally China, and the American Puppet of Korea.

We also have a very small border with the Russians but this is inconsequential to us as they are staunch allies also.

Our Current Government is led by our Dear Leader Kim Jong Il, who is both the General Secretary of the Worker's Party of Korea,

as well as Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, Chairman of the National Defence Commission,

Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Supreme Leader of the DPRK, and all round a swell guy.

Our nation is ruled through the ideology of Juche, which is a splinter of Marxism-Leninism formated primarily by Kim Il Sung, our Great Leader and Sun of the Nation

while many thought, upon his ascension, our Dear Leader would bring the youth into politics, he instead refused

this led to, in 1995, Kim Jong Il being the sole living member of the Presidium, further centralising his control over the WPK.

In a split from his father Kim Jong Il has brought the military into a more central position in DPRK Politics and

in 1998 a constitutional amendment redirected supreme state power to the leadership of the Military, reinforcing Dear Leader's preference.

While the Worker's Party of Korea was important for Mass Organization still, it's central control was near entirely under Kim Jong Il.

Dear Leader also maintained the Cult of Personality that was established under our Great Leader, Kim Il Sung

this was done while further entrenching the Kim family amongst the halls of power within the nation

This is not a unique idea however, as the Korean culture emphasises a strong loyalty to family and reverance of one's ancestors

thus leading to a string of nepotism amongst those in power, and those with family connections being prioritised which wasn't discouraged by any means.

As a summary for our Dear Leader's beliefs, a strong military in every aspect of the nation is important, and so is his position of power.

It has also been said that North Korea utilises Labor as a punishment in Prison Camps..

This of course, is standard practice in most western capitalist countries, but not the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, thanks to the

Kind hearts, and wise minds of our Glorious, and Dear Leaders.
